Welcome to the beginning of The Road Trip rewrite! Yes, the “Road Trip” was already told with Jason’s original art in the now Old Archives, but this is a sort of remake. The essential plot is basically the same with some tightening of plot lines, characters and progression.
So we are going through a bit of a rewrite, or update for some of Ardra’s earlier plots. All are still online in the Old Archives, everything from 2005-2009. So please head over there to read more, and check back each Monday for new updates to The Road Trip!
Sweet! I was wondering when you were gonna start updating again over here. I like the tweaked art style!
I mentioned to Trevor how I like how he made the girls look younger, despite us never really specifying their ages anywhere except the BIOS… which would be closer towards the “end” of the Ardra series I believe, as I would think that they age, or at least “mature” a bit as stories progress.
Yeah, Trevor’s doing a great job with the first two (second will be posted on Monday, barring unforeseen calamities) comics in this storyline.
Note Eileen & Lenore’s different hairstyles, and matching outfits, which is closer to how they looked when I was drawing the comic. Except the art isn’t god-awful anymore!
Another plus is I can now tell Ardra and Eileen apart more easily… No offense to Trevor’s character design choices of course, but I did used to get the two of them mixed up quite a lot!
